Along with being the most high-profile member of the Hogg family in Texas, Ima Hogg was an outspoken advocate for mental health systems change. These rare audio recordings from 1961 and 1967 capture Miss Ima in her own distinctive voice as she recounts the early days of the Hogg Foundation, her lifelong interest in mental health issues, and her contemporaneous thoughts on the foundation's leadership and programs. Both interviews are conducted by Robert Sutherland, the first director of the Hogg Foundation.
